Our Story

In February of 2007, the Lord drew together a diverse group of six Anglican leaders. The group met in Austin, Texas to discuss a vision for church planting. In the midst of fellowship, Scripture reading, and prayer--they discovered that God had already given them a shared vision. The group formed the Anglican Initiative for Mission and began meeting regularly to design a leadership process that calls, equips, and sends church planters into the harvest field. Since then, many others have become enthusiastic partners of the Anglican Initiative, sharing a passion to see the Kingdom of God come powerfully in this generation.

We hope you'll join us as we partner with God to steward the birth of an Anglican church planting movement in North America.
